you are not at a museum very rarely will they will they
be seen.

Comments[326]: Nice page! I just sent in a photo of my mother and my grandfather taken in about 1915, perhaps earlier, in a REALLY decked out touring car.
Enjoy!

Comments[325]: A cousin sent a photo to me of my mother, grandfather and great-grandparents in an EMF taken around 1925. The rear fenders follow the curve of the wheel rather than flaring straight back and up. Can you tell me anything about this model EMF?

Comments[324]: A great project. My grandfather owned one and did a lot of the mechanical work himself. His wife used to say that he would take it apart to see why it was running so well! The big problem of course was the differential which was repaired numerous times.

Comments[322]: As a very small boy, living in McCool, IN my grandfather had several E-M-F's. He would buy them very cheaply as their build quality dictated that quite a few were available. I remember that he referred to them as 'Every morning fixems'. He also made many tractors from the frames, engines and transmissions. He used Ford truck rear axles. Regards. John Garrison

Comments[318]: Very nice site. Good pictures of the Piquette Street plant. I am still looking for pictures of the original plant at Clark Street south of Fort all the way to the river. I believe this was the De Luxe Motor Car Company facility before EMF bought them.

Comments[314]: We recently bought a 1912 (we believe) touring car. The title shows it to be a 1911, but we believe that it is actually a 1912 EMF. We are anxious to get this newsletter, having had it forwarded to us by a friend. Hopefully we are typing in the words correctly to prevent spammers so that you receive this and can respond (my eyes just aren't reading the one word well!). We are members of HCCA, but would like to enjoy your newsletter as well.

Comments[313]: Was totally surprised to see all the info regarding the E-M-F. My aunt sent me an old postcard (Ref. P13) postmarked 1912. I was researching the card when I came upon your site. Was curious about the value of the card.
