hallo, I have big interest in the Flanders cie, because I live in Flanders the upper part of Belgium, where 60% speaks Flemish is the same as Dutch what they speak in Holland, and we are neighbours. I have a motorcycle museum at the coast close to Bruges and Ypres(Ieper):www.oldtimermotorenmuseum.be I have a photo of a V cilinder Flanders motorcycle, and now just discovered where the name comes from....I visited Detroit long time agoo, and have been singing in Michigan, and visited allso the Ford factory, but in that period unfortunately I didn't allready collect vintage motorcycles. Thanks for all your info and if you come to Europe, don't forget to come to Bruges, one of the most beautifull places on earth, small but lovely. My museum is in the biggest motorcycle hotel of Europe:www.grd.be, museumsite :www.oltimermotorenmuseum.be

I have recently acquired a fully restored model 30 tourer which has been the subject of a complete rennovation in the US and is therefore better than new. It is destined for European rallies which it is well suited for.

A cousin sent a photo to me of my mother, grandfather and great-grandparents in an EMF taken around 1925. The rear fenders follow the curve of the wheel rather than flaring straight back and up. Can you tell me anything about this model EMF?

A great project. My grandfather owned one and did a lot of the mechanical work himself. His wife used to say that he would take it apart to see why it was running so well! The big problem of course was the differential which was repaired numerous times.
